ST. LOUIS, May 25, 2017— Fans of fashion and film should head to Forest Park on four Friday evenings starting July 14, when the Saint Louis Art Museum’ transforms Art Hill into the city’s biggest cinema for a celebration of high style on the big screen.
The lineup for this year’s Art Hill Film Series includes four movies featuring stunning costume design, including “Titanic” on July 14, “Dreamgirls” on July 21, “To Catch a Thief” on July 28 and “The Devil Wears Prada” on Aug. 4
This year’s fashion-themed festival coincides with “Reigning Men: Fashion in Menswear, 1715-2015,” an exhibition celebrating rich history of restraint and resplendence in menswear. The exhibition is drawn primarily from the renowned collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which organized the exhibition. It opens in St. Louis on June 25.
Free parking and seating at the Art Hill Film Series will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and, before the films, explore the Museum’s galleries or grab a bite at the annual Food Truck Fest, presented by Sauce Magazine. Moviegoers also are welcome to pack their own food and picnic on Art Hill.
