Discover the world of Cool and Contemporary art at the Saint Louis Art Museum every Sunday in June! Bring the whole family to the Museum from 1:00-4:00 pm for free, art-inspired fun including hands-on art activities and a lively 30-minute family tour.
Visit the Museum’s galleries together on a kid-friendly guided tour and learn about vibrant, unique works of art created by modern artists. Family guided tours begin at 2:30 pm in the Grigg Gallery. Space is limited so participants must sign up in the Grigg Gallery on the day of the program.
Engage in hands-on, dynamic art projects inspired by the pop art of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, in addition to the optical art of Julie Mehretu and Frank Stella. Each week participants will make a different project to take home. June projects include creating pop art inspired collages, 3-D Julie Mehretu paper sculptures, op-art pin wheels, or contemporary masterpieces on mini canvases.
Join us every Sunday in June for all the fun!
Family Sundays: June 7, 14, 21, 28. 1:00–4:00 pm
